PROGRAM INFORMATION
JR. NBA
- U7: Born in 2018 or 2019 (co-ed)
- U9: Born in 2016 or 2017 (boys and girls)
- Open to all skill levels
- 2 sessions each week (one during the week and one on the weekend)
- The season runs from October to end of February
- The curriculum is set by Basketball Canada
- Sessions are led by trained parent coaches
- Each player gets a jersey and a basketball
COMPETITIVE- BOYS AND GIRLS
- U11: Born in 2014 or 2015
- U13: Born in 2012 and 2013
- U14: Born in 2011
- Season runs from October to the end of February
- Team selection by tryout
- $150 competitive fee upon selection
- 2 practices per week
- Higher commitment level required
- Games and tournaments outside the city
- NCCP certified head coaches
CITY LEAGUE- BOYS AND GIRLS
- U11: Born in 2014 or 2015
- U13/14: Born in 2011, 2012, or 2013
- Open to all skill levels
- 1 consistent practice time weekly
- Games Friday night's in Fredericton
- Season runs October to end of February
- Games officiated by Jr. Refs
- Assigned coach to each team
- Equal playing time during games
- Each player is given a jersey top
